Sarah Bloom is a writer / director from New York. She has a BFA in Screenwriting from Dodge College. She’s deeply passionate about analog film, secondhand objects, and the great outdoors. Perhaps because all three of those things are full of stories.
Her projects explore the dark dirty magic of human connection. She prioritizes beauty, authenticity and emotion when telling stories. She intends to make a short film about levitating children this summer in Vermont.
Sarah’s prose and poetry have been published by Silver Operation, Sunroom Bookz and Calliope Art & Literary Magazine. Her directorial debut, It Will Happen to Us Again, will premiere at Green Mountain Film Festival this March. Past screenwriting includes San Clemente Syndrome, which premiered at Catalina Film Festival and is streaming on NoBudge.
