A girl takes a dreamy film photo in a mirror

As a child, I always had my head stuck in a book - it caused me to walk into walls sometimes. I felt more connected to the fictional world of romance, magic and mystery than I did to the mundane, lonely world around me.

When I grew up, I stepped out of my head, became more grounded, and got in touch with my senses. I looked around me and found that I was a part of everything. I found that the world was just as beautiful and magical as books could be.

That’s why I take photos and make films - to let that beauty rest in my hand like a butterfly.

To notice.

To hold on for just one second longer.

To capture the infinite microcosms that live between people that love each other.

To marvel at this wonderful world.

What do you dream of?

A fairy-like mirage walks through a garden of dahlias
Edward Rojas of Hotel TV looks up at the camera wearing a Beatles Sgt Pepper costume, surrounded by shadowy women
A man in a suit dances with colorful motion blur
A girl with her arms around her boyfriends neck leans in to kiss him in black and white
A man wearing simple clothes and no shoes lies facefirst in a field of tall grass
How brief and magical it was that we all lived so close to each other and went in and out of each other’s rooms, and our most important job was to solve mysteries.
